Message Feel free to calculate the increase in the moment of inertia of your new wheel/tire combo, then factor in the loss of sidewall flexion due to decreased area which then results in a loss of traction when before the tire flexion (due to greater sidewall area) would allow you to maintain traction.

Your butt doesn't exactly take that into account.

The difference is probably minimal, but it does decrease the rate of acceleration (all things being equal except tire sidewall area and wheel/tire combo moment of inertia).

mkay?
